But without faith it is not possible to please him for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him...(Heb11:6). Are you indeed a Christain? Is it by faith and work? Or simply by name and church going - which has no place in the Kingdom of God. "If you confess with your mouth 'Jesus is Lord' and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved." (Rom. 10:9).
Your confession of God and his son Jesus Christ must be totally anchored on an unflinching faith. Your faith is only certified by His Divine judgement after it has been tested by both the positive and negative aspects of life. Believing and confessing Him with total service and submission during these two heights. Abraham and Sarah waited for 25years to receive the promised blessing of God. During the waiting period, they were totally submissive to God, serving Him with all their strength and keeping His statutes. After receiving the blessing, their faith remained reinforced and their service to God was absolute(Heb,6:13).
In your waiting is your salvation(Luke;21:19) Isaac received the promise of God when he was forty years but waited patiently for 20years passing through a series of trials and temptations before receiving the fulfillment when he was 60(Gen;25:20-26). Joseph the son of Jacob was 17 when he received God's covenant of blessing. He waited for 13years passing successfully through the temptations of women and imprisonment yet cleaving strongly to God until the moment of fulfillment when he was 30 and more strongly thereafter(Gen;37:2-9, Gen;41:39-46).
Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego had total love, devotion and submission to God when they were governors over Babylonian provinces. Confronted with death sentence through a burning fiery furnance of fire, they stood firmly to confess God. As governor, Daniel stood by God serving him devotedly. Under the risk of losing his life in the lion's den, he still confessed God and stood on the side of righteousness(Dan;6). In years of waiting and tribulation did you cleave to Him strongly and jealously, serving Him and keeping His statutes? Now you are blessed materially, financially and physically - do you have time for Him, to serve Him, to have Him and to do His will?
He is God that must be loved, worshipped and obeyed. May the Almighty God Jehovah through His son Jesus Christ our Lord abundantly bless you and fortify your faith as you read and digest this message.
